This is a simple but tasty recipe which would be fine accompaniment with curd rice, rasam, sambar etc. Garam masala and pepper plays an important role in this dish's taste. I have done this dish with Monthan banana variety. You can try this with any plantain.

INGREDIENTS:
Plantain, sliced-1
Turmeric powder- ¼ teaspoon
Chilli powder- ½ teaspoon
Pepper powder- ½ teaspoon
Garam masla- ¼ teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste- ¼ teaspoon
Salt-to taste

PROCEDURE:
  • Mix all above ingredients well and sprinkle water and make as a paste.
  • Apply the paste on the chopped plantain and marinate for 5 minutes.
 
  • In a pan sprinkle oil and fry the plantain till crisp.
  • Turn the plantain chops to other side and cook till both sides becomes crisp.
